Our partner supplying mills are based in Europe and operate with the latest steelmaking and rolling technologies. We have the facility to source via BOS route as well as the flexibility to supply from smaller, more specialist casts, via the electric arc furnace route.
Depending on customer requirements, we can offer from mills that have their own steelmaking facilities or from United Kingdom based converter/rolling mills. The mills are committed to re-investment to stay at the forefront of technology and offer a host of features such as electric arc steelmaking or B.O.S. steelmaking, ladle refinement, vacuum degassing, continuous casting, automatic gauge control, reversing rolling mills and on-line rolling mills, annealing facilities, cutting/shearing lines, cold sawing.
All supplying mills are fully approved to recognised European standards and have separate quality and technical departments. All supplies are fully works test certificated and all material is identified with relevant details for traceability. We also offer assistance for technical development items from our own metallurgically trained staff to choose the correct grade and surface condition for the end application. The close working relationship that we have developed over many years with our European partners affords us the ability to tailormake our product to the customers’ requirements.
